By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service ( Belize Met Service) says that a northeasterly airflow persists across the country, supporting cloudy spells today with a few showers over the southern districts. Showers will be isolated elsewhere. Showers will increase along the coast tonight.
High temperatures are 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees over inland areas and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight, low temperatures are to reach 77 degrees along the coast; 68 over inland areas, and 64 in the hills.
Winds are from the east to northeast at five to 15 knots; sea state is light chop.
Tides will be high at 9:28 a.m. this morning and again at 8:52 p.m. this evening, and low at 2:35 p.m. this afternoon, while the sun rose at 6:13 a.m. and will set at 5:58 p.m.
Friday should see a few showers occurring around the country.
