On February 26 and 27, customers visiting Quality Poultry branches countrywide can find massive discounts such as 25 percent off on select Country Meat products, 10 percent off Country Foods eggs, 25 percent off Fein Catch Tilapia Fillet, 25 percent off Running W Brand Meats, 25 percent off Quality Poultry smoked turkey breast and smoked turkey legs, and 25 percent off all softy products.

Quality Poultry is also going the extra mile and offering 25 percent off its brand new product Chicken Express Whole Chicken, which comes ready to cook right out of the package.

The company said that it believes national pride is something that can be expressed in many ways throughout the entire year, and supporting Belizean businesses is one of the major things that everyone can do to express it.

“Many years ago there was an initiative called ‘if you buy in Belize you build Belize’ and it’s something that stuck with us,” a company representative said. “Right now we know there’s a lot of call for Belize to be more independent and not rely on imported products. So this is a collective effort to just try and get as much attention as we can to our local Belizean products so hopefully, it can get the country out of this financial slump we are in a little faster.”

On Friday, customers in Belmopan also get an extra sweet treat, with The Village Cooperative bakery, selling various styles of delicious doughnuts in the Quality Poultry branch parking lot.
