Nine new cases of COVID-19 reported

By BBN Staff: The latest COVID-19 data produced by the Ministry of Health and Wellness shows that there have been nine newly-confirmed cases in Belize.

The new cases were detected among a sample batch of 552 tests, resulting in a daily positivity rate of 1.63. The adjusted overall positivity rate now stands at 16.4.

Newly confirmed cases were split between four females and five males.

The national total for confirmed cases has gone up to 12,280, with 141 of those cases remaining active.
