Minister of Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform meets with U.S. Embassy’s Charge d’ Affaires

By BBN Staff: On February 25, 2021, Minister of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform, Henry Charles Usher received a courtesy visit from Keith Gilges, United States Embassy in Belize’s Charge d’ Affaires.

Minister Usher and Gilges discussed areas of mutual interest.

Special attention was given to the good governance policy, with emphasis on an anti-corruption unit.

Minister Usher gave particular importance to the transformation of governance in the country of Belize. 

Usher expressed his appreciation for the active relationship that has existed between the U.S. Embassy in Belize and the country over the past years. 

Also, in attendance were Dr. Osmond Martinez, CEO in the Ministry; Alan Flesch, U.S. Political-Economics Officer; and Michelle Rodriguez, Public Relations Officer in the Ministry.
