By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service (Belize Met Service) says a prevailing easterly airflow will support fair conditions. Skies will be sunny with a few cloudy spells today, partly cloudy tonight, and isolated showers only.
High temperatures will reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees inland, and 78 in the hills. Tonight, low temperatures are at 78 degrees along the coast, 72 inland and 66 in higher elevations.
Winds are from the east to southeast, gusty, at 15 to 25 knots. Sea state is moderate to rough. A small craft warning is in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas. Mariners are advised to remain in a safe harbor.
Tides will be high at 10:29 a.m. this morning and at 10:24 p.m. this evening, and low at 4:11 p.m. this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:12 a.m. and will set at 5:58 p.m.
The extended outlook calls for similar weather conditions through Sunday.
