COVID-19 hospitalizations down to four

By BBN Staff: As Belize continues to make strides fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of patients hospitalized due to the virus has fallen to four.

While there are four active hospitalizations, two patients are receiving critical care inside an Intensive CAre Unit (ICU).

Another 24 patients have managed to recover from COVID-19, bringing the national total of recoveries up to 11,860 and the recovery rate up to 96.3.

Notable, the Ministry of Health and Wellness still has 82 suspected cases under investigation.

Belize still has 137 active cases of COVID-19.
