Only twenty new COVID-19 cases in three days

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness is reporting that there have only been 20 new cases of COVID-19 in the past three days.

The latest national report, which covers the period February 27-March 1, showed that the 20 cases were detected among a total of 1,622 tests.

Newly-confirmed cases were split between seven females and 13 males, and the positivity rate for the three-day period stood at 1.24.

The national total for infections has gone up to 12,313 and the overall positivity rate has been adjusted to 16.0.

Notably, there were no new deaths associated with the virus.
