Foreign Ministers of Belize and Guatemala to meet at OAS office

By BBN Staff: The Foreign Ministers of Belize and Guatemala are scheduled to meet on March 4, 2021.

The Ministers, Eamon Courtenay, and Pedro Vila will meet at the office of the Organization of American States (OAS) in the Adjacency Zone.

The Foreign Ministers will discuss efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries including reactivating the Belize-Guatemala Joint Commission, implementation of the Partial Scope Trade Agreement, and enhancing the work of the OAS Office in the Adjacency Zone.

They are also expected to reaffirm the importance and adherence of both countries to the Confidence Building Measures Agreement signed in 2005.
