By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says fair conditions continue to dominate the atmosphere. As a result, skies will be mostly sunny today, partly cloudy tonight, and shower activity will be isolated.
High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight, it will be 78 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east at 10 to 20 knots; seastate is moderate to rough.
Tides were low at 6:14 a.m. and will be again at 6:48 p.m., and high at 12:06 p.m. The Sun rose at 6:10 a.m. this morning and sets at a minute to six this evening.
Election day will see similar mainly fair weather with little to no rainfall.
