Shyne Barrow encourages support for the UDP 11 Belize City Council candidates

By Shyne Barrow: Greetings Mesopotamia family. Election day is here thus I ask that you please support the UDP 11 City Council candidates in today’s municipal elections.

I have no doubt that this qualified, dedicated, service oriented and people centered UDP 11 are exactly the type of leaders Belize City Hall needs right now. This UDP 11 team has the compassion and the will to serve the residents of Belize City.

The PUP City Council has failed Belize City over the last 3 years. They have engaged in corruption and neglect. The PUP will be no different if you re-elect them. The change they promised was a fraudulent campaign slogan that will never come to be. They will continue to fail you just like the recently elected PUP government is failing you.

You the people have the power to send a message to the PUP government to tighten up. They have abandoned the COVID-19 food assistance program, the unemployment relief fund and all social assistance for the poor and working class. This is unacceptable and a human rights violation to not provide the basic essentials for our people in need during this COVID-19 economic crisis.

The PUP have no plan to reopen the economy and get the working class back to work. The PUP government has no plan to provide opportunities for the long term unemployed. The PUP will not raise the minimum wage or give free education. It was all a hoax to get elected.

All the PUP will do over the next few years is complain that they have no money while spending millions on new vehicles for Ministers and CEOs, millions on roads that lead to no where and millions on salaries for their family and friends.

A vote for the PUP is a vote to continue to suffer.

I urge you to VOTE UDP 11 down the line today and thanks for your continued support.
