Ministry of Health and Wellness reports record low number of positive COVID-19 cases

By BBN Staff: Newly-confirmed COVID-19 cases were at a record low today, according to the new data published by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Today’s national update showed only three new cases detected from a sample batch of 222 cases.

The three new cases were all male. The daily positivity rate was 1.36, while the overall positivity rate was lowered to 15.8.

The three new infections bring the national total for confirmed cases up to 12,329, of which, 97 are still active. The lowest number of infections for a single day in 2021 was five, recorded back in February.
