By BBN Staff: A grieving pet owner is offering a reward, no questions asked, for the return of her dog, Orie.

The owner says that she was returning from the Salvation Army Distribution Centre on Oleander Street in the St. Martin’s area when she noticed that her dog was not in her vehicle.

Quickly returning to the area, she was told that someone in a red Ford SUV had picked up the dog matching the description of Orie.  Notably, the dog is a comfort animal and will not react well to the separation. The dog also has very specific nutritional needs and does not eat dog chow or table scraps.

“To the person who went to pick up a food-bag from the Pantry (distribution Centre) in Oleander street, St. Martin De Porres area) and picked up my pet… please contact him to me. I know he is scared and fretful at this time. I need him home,” the owner said.

Anyone with information on the dog’s whereabouts is urged to call 614-8182 or 223-1954.
