New Covid-19 cases reported in Corozal and Stann Creek Districts

By Aaron Humes, Belize City: Four new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Independence Village (three) and Dangriga (one), and the other two in Corozal District (San Joaquin and San Roman with one each).

Cumulatively, Belize has conducted tests on more than 78 thousand persons with 87 thousand actual tests conducted.

There are now 12,235 confirmed cases for a national positivity rate of 15.7 percent. The national recovery rate stands at 96.7 percent, and the case fatality rate remains at 2.55 percent.
