By BBN Staff: Fair weather prevails today, then later tonight an increase in moisture is expected and this will be associated with the approach of a cold front according to the Belize National Meteorological Service.
The 24-hour Forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today with little or no rainfall. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with some cloudy spells, shower activity will be isolated at first, then an increase in coastal showers can be expected.
High temperatures will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 over the interior, and 81 in the hills; tonight, it will be 72 along the coast, 68 inland, and 62 in the hills.
Winds are from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 knots; sea state is slight.
There will be low tides at 9:06 this morning and 11:38 this evening and a high tide at 3:29 this afternoon.
The sun rose at 6:07 this morning and will set at exactly six this evening.
The outlook for Sunday and Sunday night is for cloudy spells with a few showers and periods of rain developing mainly south and offshore.
