The event, 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26) will feature discussions on climate change on the Caribbean.

Young will discuss the impacts of climate change on the Caribbean and the current and future roles of defence organisations in the face of evolving climate change risks.

According to Loop, Young has said that the region is already experiencing effects of climate change disasters.

Young says that national governments will need to deal with climate refugees and other challenges.
