Less than 1% of world population have received COVID-19 vaccine

By BBN Staff: Less than 1 percent of the global population have received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Prensa Latina reports that, 60 million people have been vaccinated.

Near the end of 2020, the vaccination process began with over 284 million doses being administered.

Officials from the World Health Organization (WHO) explained that the vaccines that were approved showed 70 to 90% efficacy.

People in over 80 countries have received at least 1 dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, WHO reports.
