Those who are pregnant will also not be eligible to receive the vaccine.
Private and public frontline healthcare workers and hospital, lab, and pharmacy workers will be vaccinated on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Thursday and Friday, persons 60 years and older with HIV, cancer, or on dialysis will be eligible for the vaccine.
Vaccinations will take place at Dr. Kenneth and Kevin Guerra Polyclinic 11, the San Ignacio Community Hospital, the Santa Elena Health Center, the Georgeville Health Center, and the San Antonio Health Center from 8 am to 5 pm.
Vaccinations on the weekend will be done only at the San Ignacio Community Hospital from 8 am to 5 pm.
The Ministry says that vaccinations will continue at all mentioned sites and the public will be notified when other phases commence.
Those patients who are 60 years and older and unable to visit the hospital are advised to have their caregiver visit the hospital and hand in their information.
