Belize Met Service: Expect more rain in the center and south of Belize

By BBN Staff: A relatively moist northeasterly airflow prevails, supporting cloudy spells and rain showers mainly in the center and south of Belize according to the National Meteorological Service.

High temperatures are 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 85 over inland areas, and 72 in the hills. Tonight, it will be 74 degrees along the coast, 64 in the interior, and 60 in the hills.

Winds are from the northeast at 10 to 20 knots and gusty. Sea state is rough; a small craft warning remains in effect for strong winds and rough seas.

High tide is expected at 8:17 a.m. and 7:29 p.m., low tide at 12:54 p.m. the sun rise at five minutes past six this morning and sets at a minute past six this evening.

Showers and rain are expected countrywide on Wednesday.
