By BBN Staff: The latest COVID-19 update produced by the Ministry of Health and Wellness shows that there are 11 newly-reported cases in Belize.

The new cases were detected among a sample batch of 1,550 tests, conducted between March 6-9.

With the new cases, the national total has gone up to 12,345 and the three-day fatality period stood at 0.71.

There are 66 cases from the national total that remain active.

“One (1) positive from the prior cumulative total was removed due to duplication,” the Ministry noted.
