Two men charged for San Ignacio shooting

By BBN Staff: Police have arrested and charged two people in connection with the Sunday shooting of David Galindo in San Ignacio.

Police say that, based on information they received from Galindo and identification through a photo array, they arrested and charged Geovanni Harvey Trapp, 27, of Esperanza Village for attempted murder.

They additionally charged Keishan David Harris, 21, also of Esperanza, for abetment to commit murder.

The incident unfolded at around 8:00 a.m. on March 8. Galindo was walking on Orchid Street heading towards Perez Street when he was approached by a man who shot him to the chest, abdomen, and hand.

He was taken to the Western Regional Hospital for treatment.
