COVID-19 hospitalizations down to one

By Benjamin Flowers: There is only one patient in the entire country that is hospitalized due to COVID-19 according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The Ministry’s latest national update on the COVID-19 situation shows that Belize stands at the brink of having no one hospitalized due to the virus, as there are no patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Meanwhile, another 10 patients have recovered from the virus, bringing the national total for recoveries up to 11,972 and the national recovery rate now stands at 96.9.

The Ministry has 65 suspected cases of COVID-19 under investigation.
