Newly upgraded Baking Pot ferry back to work!

By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing has upgraded the Baking Pot Ferry in Spanish Lookout.

During the floods in 2020, the ferry was severely damaged and deteriorated.

 Personnel from the ministry got to work, and all the rotted sections have been replaced, holes fixed and new cables attached.

“We thank all persons who regularly use the ferry for their patience, and give thanks to the team which went above and beyond to get the ferry operational again,” the Ministry expressed.
