BREAKING: Surprise power outage reported countrywide

By Aaron Humes: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) has confirmed that a power outage hit several portions of the country this afternoon after 3 p.m.

Power has since been restored in some areas and the power provider says it is working on restoring elsewhere.

BEL has promised an update as to the cause of the outage and we will provide it when we get it.
