Universal Hardware says Sale Week in Spanish Lookout was a huge success; they are planning another one for Belize City

By BBN Staff: “The Universal Sale Week was a huge success, and we are grateful to all those who came out and enjoyed the huge discounts,” Willie Dueck, Marketing Manager at Universal Hardware, said of the Universal Sale Week in Spanish Lookout last week.

Part of the deal was the Grand Raffle, which as opposed to other times when it was done in front of all the shoppers, because of the COVID-19 restrictions this time the raffle had to be done on a live Facebook stream.

“I’m sure it was a good experience for those who did win the motorcycle, the Echo chainsaw, the Shindaiwa trimmer, and so forth,” Willie said. “Stephen Coleman who won the Lifan LF110-71 motorcycle picked up the bike already.”

“It went really well with Makita,” Dueck said, “quite a few people walked away with free tools and then of course the huge discounts on 18-volt impact cordless drivers, hammer drills, circular saws, chop saws, cut-off saws, grinders, and the Makita 4-stroke brush-cutters, and vacuum cleaners. We had a lot of Makita deals, especially cordless deals.”

Apart from the Makita deals, Universal Hardware also offered other promotions such as the “Buy One, Get One Free Easy Care BOGO Paint, huge discounts on Lifan and Meilun Motorcycles and on Echo and Shindaiwa brush cutters, trimmers & chainsaws, outdoor power tools, Tool Craft hand tools and more.

The Universal Sale Week ran all week from Tuesday, March 9 to Saturday, March 13, at Universal Hardware’s main branch on Center Road in Spanish Lookout.

Willie said that Universal Hardware is already planning another sale: “We are actively planning for a sale in Belize City and we’re thinking of the last week in May at our Belize City Store on Chetumal Street.”

So, look out Belize City.
