Joint unions call for the removal of Financial Secretary Joseph Waight

By BBN Staff: Today, the joint unions negotiating cost saving measures with the government of Belize announced its call for the removal of Financial Secretary Joseph Waight.

The unions say that Waight, and his accompanying support staff, especially those above the age of 55, need to be removed.

The unions claim that Waight has not been properly reporting on government finances which has contributed to the difficult position that the country is in.
