Speednet Communications sends condolences for death of Jevaughan Ramclam

By Aaron Humes: Speednet Communications Limited, parent company of SMART, has issued notice of its sadness at yesterday afternoon’s passing of Jevaughan Ramclam, who fell 200 feet to his death from a tower on which he was to be working.

The company says Ramclam was working for an independent contractor it hired to conduct works on the tower, which was located on the Philip Goldson Highway near Benny’s Home Center, not far from SMART’s main office off the Buttonwood Bay roundabout.

The company said it issued its condolences to his family.

Police were dispatched to investigate but appear to be satisfied that the fall was accidental.
