Tropic Air to resume flights to Roatán, Honduras

By Benjamin Flowers: Tropic Air announced this week that it will be resuming its flights between the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA) (BZE), and Roatán, Honduras (RTB) on Monday, March 29, 2021.

The airline explained that, initially, the flights will operate twice a week: departing the PGIA on Monday and Friday at 4:00 p.m., arriving in Roatán at 5:00 p.m.; as well as departing Roatán on Tuesday and Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and arriving at the PGIA at 9:30 a.m.

“Flights to Roatan are also conveniently timed to connect with Tropic Air service to and from Cancun, Mexico, domestic flights within Belize, as well as most international airline flights to Belize,” Tropic Air said.

The airline also noted that there are currently modified protocols for international passengers arriving in Belize, that can be viewed by visiting https://www.belizetourismboard.org/news-and-gallery/belize-covid-19-update/. Tropic Air encouraged travelers to access current destination information before booking their trip to Belize and to check again a few days before departure to be aware of any changes.
