Minister of Health and Wellness: More than 65% of healthcare workers vaccinated

By Zoila Palma: Today, Minister of Health and Wellness Michel Chebat informed the nation that as the Ministry’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign continues, over 65% of healthcare workers in the country have received the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Chebat says that more than 30% of people ages 60 years and older have also received their first dose of the COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine.

Chebat says that the vaccine brings everyone closer to ending the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Minister also invited adults 60 years and older and those with underlying health conditions to visit the nearest health facilities for the COVID-19 vaccine.
