By Benjamin Flowers: There have been more than 3 million COVID-19 cases reported globally between Sunday, March 14, and today, Sunday, March 21.
Worldometer puts the total number of COVID-19 cases globally at 123,555,586, a difference of 3,398,518 when compared to last week.
There are over 21.2 million active cases with 90,224 (0.4 percent) listed as serious/critical cases. All other cases are listed as mild.
There have been a total of 2,723,780 deaths reportedly linked to the virus, which represents 62,383 new deaths in a week.
Recoveries have gone up by more than 3 million, from over 96.68 million to 99.5 million.
In the United States, cases went from just over 30 million to 30,484,624, while deaths went from 546,605 to 554,898.
Cases in Brazil went from over 11.4 million to over 11.9, while deaths went from 277,261 to 292,856.
Cases in India, went from more than 11.3 million to above 11.5 million, while deaths went from 158,642 to 159,790.
Cases in Belize went from 12,370 to 12,400 while deaths remained at 316.
