Belize Met Service: Weather conditions to become dryer

The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that a dry air flow will prevail over the country today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few brief showers will develop mainly along central coastal areas this morning, thereafter, shower activity will become isolated. Tonight, little to no rainfall is expected.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 89 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East between 05-15 knots, and the sea state will be light chop.

High tide came in at 6:04 a.m. and low tide will occur at 9:43 a.m.

The sun will set at 6:04 p.m. and the moon will rise at 12:25 p.m.
