By Zoila Palma: Today the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy and Logistics issued a statement informing the public that the Chief Transport Officer, Tirso Galvez, has requested early retirement for personal reasons.

The Ministry says that there are no other grounds in reference to his early retirement as had been posted on a Facebook page on Monday.

“Galvez has contributed tremendously to the public service through the Department of Transport for over 30 years,” the Ministry noted.

The Ministry thanked Galvez for his unwavering support and extended well wishes in his future endeavours.
