More than 18,000 people in Belize have received their first AstraZeneca shot

By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health and Wellness informed that 18,182 people in Belize have received their first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

The daily vaccination report demonstrated that 900 people received the shot today.

Health experts remind that as Easter approaches, the public should remain mindful that COVID-19 is still out there.

Those that have been vaccinated are also reminded to adhere to precautionary measures.
