Over 17,000 people in Belize have received their first AstraZeneca shot

By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues to encourage the public to get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.

As the COVID-19 vaccination campaign continues countrywide, 17,282 people in Belize have been vaccinated thus far.

The daily vaccine report is at 1,080 for March 24.

Of the 545 tests conducted on Tuesday, 3 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed.

There are 39 active cases of COVID-19.

Those that have been vaccinated are also reminded to continue to practice all precautionary measures.
