By Benjamin Flowers: In its latest Entrepreneur Spotlight, the United States Embassy in Belmopan has highlighted Osamni Tzib for the month of March.

Tzib is being highlighted as an investor in his family-owned business, A&M Honey, which was founded by Isaias Tzib in San Antonio Village back in 1990.

The business is now shared amongst Isaias, Osamni, Osamni’s mother, and his three sisters. The family originally started the business to address a lack of individuals harvesting honey in Belize, but they now strive to provide their 100 percent natural product throughout Belize.

A&M Honey has always been a very important aspect of Osamni’s life. The embassy notes that in his childhood days Tzib would go near the bees thinking they were very small and interesting but was unable to touch them as he had not yet learned how to properly handle them.

Tzib, who is also a steady employee at Blancaneaux Lodge for 3 years, is currently involved in the business as an investor but would like to become more involved and hands-on in the future.

He also hopes to facilitate the expansion of the business to get the product into more homes countrywide.
