Government announces price increase for Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG)

А ѕtаtеmеnt frоm thе mіnіѕtrу ѕауѕ thаt thе сhаngе nоw rеflесtѕ thе ѕаlе bу whоlеѕаlе vоlumе аnd rеtаіl ѕаlе bу vоlumе іn bоth urbаn аnd rurаl аrеаѕ.

In all districts, the wholesale price per gallon of LPG went from $3.42 to $3.59. In urban areas, the price per pound went from $1.14 to $1.18 while the price per gallon went from $5.02 to $5.19. In rural areas, the price per pound went from $1.16 to $1.20 and the price per gallon went from $5.12 to $5.29.

“As the winter months wane, the monthly increase in March is due to a tempered increase in acquisition prices in the US Gulf Coast,” the Supplies Control Unit said.

The last adjustment to the price of LPG was made on February 16th, 2021.
