Inland temperatures soar to 97 degrees Fahrenheit

By Zoila Palma: The National Meteorological Service informs that mainly fair and dry weather will continue.

The 24-hour forecast is for sunny skies and no rainfall is expected.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 97 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Residents are advised to remain hydrated and avoid out-door activities as much as possible.

A small craft warning is in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas.

 The extended forecast is for similar weather conditions to continue.
