Brandon Adolphus wins Baby Leonel 5K in 17 mins, 3 secs

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Running in Orange Walk, Brandon Adolphus won the Baby Leonel virtual 5-kilometer race organized by organized by runners’ community in 17 minutes and 3 seconds. This event, put together to help baby Leonel Carrillo get emergency surgery, raised $1005.00.

Jordan Santos of the San Pedro Triathlon team was second clocking 19:14. He was followed in 3rd place by Rafael August Jr of the August Splashers who ran the 5k in Santa Elena, Cayo, in 20:17. Brandon Santos, also from the San Pedro Triathlon squad, finished 4th in 20:49. Westrac’s Hector Moreira in Belmopan took fifth in 22:02.

Sixth place went to Miguel Patzan in 22:08 in Benque Viejo del Carmen while Kian Trejo of the Kiki Athletics Running Team in San Pedro finished 7th.

Chris Prater of Ripple FX was 8th in 22:41 running in a place called London in a place called London in Ontario, Canada.

Westrac’s Arlin Bautista in Unitedville was timed at 22:54 finishing 9th while Erlando Che of the FitLife501 Club ran in 10th clocking 22:57 in Orange Walk.

28 runners competed.
