By Zoila Palma: Today, Taiwan Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien met with leaders from the Taiwanese community in Belize.
Discussions included the economic impacts brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic and health and well-being of all Taiwanese in Belize.
Ambassador Chien greeted all the Taiwanese in Belize, and said that the Taiwan Embassy will continue to work with the Taiwanese community in Belize.
Belize and Taiwan established diplomatic relations on October 12, 1989, and have enjoyed strong diplomatic friendship since then.
