Social Security announces launch of new self-service online platform

By Benjamin Flowers: Today the Social Security Board (SSB) announced the launch of its new online self-service platform called “My Social Security” which will give customers greater access to the process associated with Social Security.

The platform will be rolled out in phases, with the first phase allowing contributors to update their information online and apply for a new Social Security card at any time.

“The future of My Social security includes improvements for Employers and Self-Employed persons to access online payments and contribution history,” the SSB said.

The Board also said that it will continue to work on enhancing the user online experience while ensuring that personal information remains confidential and secure.

The SSB also stressed that the rollout of the new platform affirms its commitment to improving service delivery and enhancing customer experience.
