Who shot Kevaughn Morris, 21?

By Aaron Humes: Someone wanted 21-year-old Kevaughn Morris, of Allan Pitts Crescent, Belize City, dead on Saturday night. The question is, why?

Police confirmed today that Morris was marked for death by a gunman who shot him multiple times as he sat on the fence inside the Wilton Cumberbatch Field. His companion, unnamed, escaped unharmed.

Morris had previously been searched by police, but they say that at this point they have nothing connecting him to any of the recent shootings and murders in the City, whether as an alleged perpetrator or with knowledge of the victims. Thus, a motive has not been established for the killing.

Police investigations continue.
