By BBN Staff: The Government of Belize has announced yet another increase in the price of gasoline, which sees an increase in the price of Kerosene and sends the price per gallon of regular fuel above $11.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced that under the new price adjustment, which will come into effect on March 31, the price per gallon for Kerosene will go up 12 cents from $6.75 to $6.87, while the price per gallon for Regular fuel will go up by 13 cents from $10.92 to $11.05.
The price per gallon for Diesel and Premium fuel will remain the same at $10.15 and $11.64 per gallon respectively.
The news comes just eight days after the MOF announced the last price increase, which also affected Regular fuel.
This latest change represents the ninth price adjustment for fuel for 2021 and the fourth adjustment in the month of March.
