By Aaron Humes: The first COVID-19 daily report of the week saw 12 new cases reported between March 27 and 30, and 17 persons declared recovered.

This brings the number of active cases to 38, with 175 more persons under investigation.

There have been no new intensive care unit patients (two persons are still in hospital however) and no new deaths reported, leaving that count at 317.

Belize is approaching 100 thousand tests done on over 90 thousand persons countrywide since the start of the pandemic here a year ago.

There are now 12,452 confirmed cases (13.7 percent of those tested), of which 12,088 have recovered.
