Vehicle reportedly falls off bridge in Southern Belize

By Benjamin Flowers: There are reports of a road traffic accident on the Jacinto Bridge in the Toledo district this morning.

A vehicle reportedly ran off the bridge, falling into the river below. There is no word at this time as to the degree of injuries for anyone involved.

Motorists in the area are urged to exercise extreme caution as the bridge has been the site of traffic accidents before, with the last report being in September 2020.
