COVID-19 update: Five new cases detected

By Benjamin Flowers: The latest COVID-19 update produced by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) shows that there were five newly-confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported today.

The new cases were detected among a sample batch of 688 tests.

With the new cases, the national total has gone up to 12,456 and the daily positivity rate stood at 0.73.

“One (1) positive was removed from the cumulative due to duplication,” the Ministry said.

There were no new deaths associated with the virus.
