By Aaron Humes: Minister of Health and Wellness, Michel Chebat, closed today’s COVAX event by thanking our international partners for their support.

While no longer the first choice of support, the Minister says the arrival was anticipated and is very welcome.

Belize’s total has been boosted to 238,800 doses, according to the Minister and so far, some 21 thousand Belizeans have been vaccinated.

Next are frontline workers in the Public Service although some elderly and others have yet to be vaccinated.
