Weather: Fair conditions continue today but rain will impact Easter weekend starting Thursday

A relatively moist easterly airflow prevails over Belize, according to the National Meteorological Service, which will support sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. A few showers will develop mainly over the south; while activity will be isolated elsewhere.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees inland and 75 in the hills. Tonight, the mercury falls to 76 degrees along the coast, 70 inland and 65 in the hills.

Winds are from the east at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is choppy.

High tide occurs at 10:51 a.m. this morning and a minute to midnight tonight, and a low tide happens at 5:46 p.m. this evening. The Sun will set at 6:05 p.m. this evening and rise at 5:48 a.m. Holy Thursday morning.

Similar weather conditions are expected early on Thursday, then later on activity will increase with rain over coastal areas on Thursday night.
