Belize Coast Guard cadets graduate from Mexican naval academy

By Zoila Palma: The Belize Coast Guard extended congratulations to Officer Cadets Ruby Jimenez and Anthony Aguilar on their successful completion of their commissioning course at the prestigious Mexican Naval Academy.

Jimenez and Aguilar both earned a Bachelor’s Degree in their respective course of study which will contribute significantly to the growth and development of the Belize Coast Guard.

“The Ministry of National Defence and Border Security and the Mexican Navy (SEMAR) have close security cooperation and enduring partnership in the areas of information exchanges, training and professional military education,” the Belize Coast Guard noted.

This initiative is a result of the partnership and collaboration between the Government of Belize and the Government of Mexico.
