Almost 24,000 people in Belize have received their first AstraZeneca shot

By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues to encourage the public to get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.

As the COVID-19 vaccination campaign continues countrywide, 23,958 people in Belize have been vaccinated.

The daily vaccine report is at 1,891 for April 7.

Of the 762 tests conducted, 8 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed today.

There are 51 active cases of COVID-19.

Those that have been vaccinated are also reminded to continue to practice all precautionary measures.
