Invest Caribbean, The Ritzury Group launches GoFund me for St. Vincent and the Grenadines

By Zoila Palma: Today, Invest Caribbean, the US based global private sector investment agency of the Caribbean and its partner, The Ritzury Group have launched a GoFund me to assist the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, CaribPRWire reports.

The Saint Vincent Volcano Disaster Relief GoFundMe will raise immediate funds to assist the urgent needs of the families displaced and those who are in shelters, the company reports.

The companies say that the goal is to assist financially support the long-term needs of many Vincentian families, students and children who will be displaced for months to come.

This morning, Authorities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines were still in the process of evacuating more than 16,000 people when the volcano La Soufrière erupted.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines nationals scurried to evacuate as ash began falling on April 9, 2021.

People from around the world can donate and funds will go to serve the direct needs of those affected.

Both companies pledge to provide full transparency in all monies raised, including video documentation of donations.
