Over 27,000 people in Belize have received their first AstraZeneca shot

By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues to encourage the public to get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.

As the COVID-19 vaccination campaign countrywide, 27, 353 people in Belize have been vaccinated.

As of April 9th, the daily vaccine report is at 3,395.

Of the 613 tests conducted, there were no new cases of COVID-19 confirmed.

There are currently 39 active cases of COVID-19.

Those that have been vaccinated are reminded to continue to practice all precautionary measures.
